Community Mental Health Program

We are a registered provider within the WSIB Community Mental Health Program, which means we offer assessment and treatment services for individuals with approved WSIB claims related to workplace injuries or psychological conditions.

Our goal is to provide timely, evidence‑based, and compassionate psychological care while helping clients navigate the WSIB process with clarity and support.

What Is the WSIB Community Mental Health Program?

The WSIB Community Mental Health Program connects injured workers with qualified community‑based mental health providers for psychological assessment and treatment. Services are authorized and funded by WSIB when there is an approved claim.

At our clinic, we work closely with WSIB case managers to ensure care is aligned with program requirements while remaining client‑centred and clinically appropriate.

Services We Provide Under WSIB

Depending on WSIB approval, services may include:

  • Psychological assessments (e.g., diagnostic clarification, treatment planning, functional impact)

  • Evidence‑based psychotherapy, including treatment for:

    • Post‑traumatic stress

    • Anxiety

    • Depression

    • Adjustment to injury or illness

    • Chronic pain and stress‑related concerns

  • Time‑limited treatment blocks as outlined by WSIB

WSIB typically approves treatment in blocks (e.g., 6 sessions per block), with progress updates provided as required.

Billing and Fees

  • WSIB is billed directly for approved assessments and treatment

  • Clients are not responsible for payment for WSIB‑authorized services

  • Any services outside of WSIB approval will be discussed in advance

What to Expect as a WSIB Client

  • Once WSIB approval is confirmed:

    1. You will be matched with a clinician experienced in WSIB‑related care

    2. An initial appointment will be scheduled to begin the assessment or treatment process

    3. Your clinician will collaborate with WSIB as required, while maintaining appropriate clinical boundaries and confidentiality

    4. Treatment goals will focus on recovery, functioning, and return‑to‑work considerations when relevant

  • We aim to make the process as smooth and transparent as possible.
