Casey Hon is currently a Ph.D student in the Clinical and Counselling Psychology program at the University of Toronto.
She completed her Master’s Degree in Clinical and Counselling Psychology as well as her Honours Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at the University of Toronto.
Training and Approach: Casey gained clinical experience through her practicum placements at the University of Toronto’s OISE Psychology Clinic, where she provided both assessment and treatment services. She worked primarily with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, addiction, trauma, and interpersonal difficulties. Casey takes an integrative and collaborative approach to therapy, drawing from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She strives to cultivate an empathic, non-judgmental, and insightful space for clients from diverse backgrounds and identities.
