Psychotherapy Services for First Nations and Inuit through the NIHB Program

Psychological Services for First Nations and Inuit Clients

What We Offer

Our clinic is honoured to provide psychological services to eligible First Nations and Inuit clients through the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) Program.

We aim to offer thoughtful, respectful, and evidence-based care while supporting access to services funded through NIHB.

Our Approach

  • Culturally Respectful Care
We recognize that mental health care must be grounded in respect, safety, and cultural awareness. Our clinicians strive to provide a space that acknowledges the unique experiences, identities, and contexts of First Nations and Inuit clients.

  • Evidence-Based Psychological Services
Services are provided by psychologists or clinicians under the supervision of a psychologist, using approaches such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), emotion-focused work, and other evidence-based treatments tailored to your needs.

  • Collaborative and Individualized Support
We work with you to understand your goals, whether you are navigating anxiety, mood concerns, trauma, life transitions, or relationship challenges, and develop a plan that feels relevant and manageable.

Billing and Fees

  • NIHB is billed directly for approved assessments and treatment

  • Clients are not responsible for payment for NIHB‑authorized services

  • Any services outside of NIHB approval will be discussed in advance
