Whether you’re feeling stuck, considering a new direction, or exploring your options for the first time, our career counselling process helps you identify your strengths, interests, and values - and turn them into a realistic plan.

The Process

Our Career Counselling Process Looks Like This

 Assessment

  • Intake discussion: education, work, and social history

  • Identify barriers (e.g., learning differences, mental health concerns)

  • Complete interest and aptitude assessments (e.g., CISS)

SESSION 1

Results

  • Review and interpret results from the career assessments measures

  • Explore recommended career paths based on your profile

SESSION 2

Reflection

  • Discuss pros and cons of various directions

  • Begin to rank and prioritize options based on personal fit and goals

  • Homework assignments (e.g., research career paths, job postings, networking, etc.)

SESSION 3

Action

  • Integrate insights from sessions and homework

  • Match your strengths and interests to concrete career options

  • Develop a personalized action plan​

SESSION 4

INFORMATION

Format & Fees

  • Sessions are 50 minutes and can be done in-person at our Midtown Toronto office (234 Eglinton Ave E., Suite 503) or virtually

  • Each session is $225, and the career assessment measure is $25

  • The full process typically includes 4 sessions + assessment = $925

  • Sessions are covered under most extended health benefit plans under Psychology/Psychologists
